* Let Go & Let God *

ree

The Lord spoke to me a word that I needed to hear, and I was led to share :)

 It has been a busy season of life for me. I have been deep cleaning, decluttering, and getting rid of things that I don't need.

The other day, I had filled a trash bag with things to discard, and then I moved on to the next task. Later on, I went to grab that bag. As I picked it up to move it, I noticed that it was so heavy. Too heavy, and full of junk that I had been harboring forever..... The Lord spoke to me through that: He told me that I was harboring thoughts and worries and that it was spiritually weighing me down.

I realized that I had been harboring "what if" thoughts, trying to figure out this and that, and lots of wondering. It was weighing me down. Literally. I knew that I had let DOUBT in, again. It was hindering me from trusting God to the fullest. I have to remind myself time and time again to LET GO and LET GOD.

Often, we forget that GOD IS IN CONTROL and that we need to walk in FAITH. Walking in faith is trusting God, even though you don't know what's next. This verse comes to mind:

"Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

Matthew chapter 6, verse 34

I realized that I needed to take it day by day and trust God.

So many times, we think we can fix things on our own and do things our way, which results in a mess. Not to say that we should sit back and do nothing or not be prepared... no, not at all. But we should seek the LORD'S GUIDANCE in ALL that we do. We must SEEK HIM FIRST❤️ We get so caught up in the business of life, our circumstances, and situations that we don't realize that we have become distracted, in our head with our own thoughts, and the way we see things. But it is so important that we catch ourselves and acknowledge this when it happens.

"Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean NOT on your own understanding; In ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."

Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 & 6

 Our Heavenly Father would not have this in His Word if it were not true.

Everything that He tells us if for our GOOD.

Here's a prayer that helps me:

"Lord, I ask You in Jesus name to help me. I have grabbed hold of doubt and I am not trusting You as I should. Forgive me, Father. I worry too much and sometimes I even think that I have to figure it all out. I choose today to resist those doubtful thoughts and to seek You and Your guidance first. Lead me Lord, lead my mind, and protect it from and worries and doubts. I am letting go of all of the junk that I have been harboring, and I am trusting You. Thank you for reminding me of that. And if I start to doubt again Father, help me take those thoughts captive and release them to You. In Jesus name. Amen"

I hope this helps you, if you are or ever get in a season of doubt. Remember LET GO & LET GOD❤️

Trust Him. He's got you!😊

"In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God." Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah."
